Make the biggest impact with your donations
by bringing us what local agencies need!
The Fairbanks Community Needs Drive started in December 2018 to assist individuals in donating gently used/new items to local agencies who need specific items to serve their patrons. Instead of a person donating items en mass to a thrift shop or transfer site, they can bring requested items to the event and we’ll sort them to the agency that requested it.
In 2018, we had 7 agencies sign up, though at the end of the day, we delivered to 10 agencies. Success continued in 2019 delivering even more items to 9 different agencies.
Due to the COVID pandemic, plans for a future Community Needs Drive have been put on hold. We've been spreading awareness virtually by sharing agency needs on social media.
